As you will have seen from our Portfolio and our Blog, we are experienced photographers specialising in people — whether at work, at play or on the happiest day of your life we can make each moment count. As a husband and wife team we have a lot of experience working together to ensure we can meet whatever your requirements are whilst remaining unobtrusive.
Our Philosophy
For recording of live events we follow the reportage philosophy of capturing the moment created by you rather than creating one ourselves. As you can see from our Wedding & Event portfolio page, our methodology is reflected in the photos we take; natural smiles and real emotion throughout. Our clients regularly tell us how they loved a certain photo of them and that they didn't even know we where there when we took it as well as see things even they didn't know had happened.
With our family and fashion based shoots however we take the opportunity to add to a scene to put the attention where it should be in a photo; on you. This means more equipment at the time of the shoot and a different approach to digital post-processing. As you can see from the quality of our Family and Fashion based shoots, we are equally capable of producing a scene around you and your personality as we are of capturing you in a moment of your own creation.
Our Business
We run our business very openly. We know that when you come to us you like our style, you have seen our methods through our blog and are confident based upon the work you have seen us do. Knowing that, we try to make things as simple as possible. All of the packages we offer include a CD/DVD with high resolution images of our time together. This will include the best photos fully treated as well as other photos which weren't our favourites but might be yours. The photos within our portfolio come to just a fraction of the full set as given to our clients. Other than that, everything is optional, so you can pick whether you want prints, photo books, traditional albums and what you want coverage of, and leave the rest to us.
